Rich Barna

Rich Barna is a Licensed Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 1994. Working in the field in various different capacities such as a DUI counselor, Residential Program Director, Out-Patient Director for Sierra Recovery Center.  He was an Executive Director for Tahoe Turning Point’s, Group Homes for 15 years. In 2016, was hired to work as Program Director for CDCR’s Susanville Prison until 2019. Finally, opening up a private practice (RJ Counseling) on 2019 to present in South Lake Tahoe, CA. servicing Criminal Justice and CPS clients. Rich is now planning to retire from the field and hopes to be of service to CCAPP Board of Directors.
