Jessica J. Black, PhD

Jessica J. Black, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist. She completed her PhD in clinical psychology with a health psychology emphasis at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Black completed her predoctoral internship at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VAMC with rotations in gambling, posttraumatic stress disorder, and serious mental illness. Following, she completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic, where she conducted research supported by a T-32 with the Pittsburgh Adolescent Alcohol Research Center and clinical work within the University of Pittsburgh’s Adolescent Medicine Clinic. She is interested in how addictive behaviors affect children and families, she teaches related courses, and she maintains a small psychotherapy practice.
