Jason Roop

Jason Roop, PhD is founder and CEO of the Center for Trait-Based Transformation and Vice President of Research and Development at Hometown Health System, overcame 17 years of addiction and homelessness before his recovery in 2013. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Management and Leadership and a Master of Theology. Dr. Roop has developed the Trait-Based Model of Recovery, an evidence-based approach used nationally across various systems. He is a noted speaker, author on leadership in addiction recovery, and serves on the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission, advocating for accessible, holistic, and personcentered care.
