Mirela Loftus

Mirela Loftus, MD, PhD, is a board-certified psychiatrist who began her career researching the hippocampus and its connection to schizophrenia. She earned her medical degree at one of the most acclaimed medical schools in Romania, and received her PhD from the University of California, Davis. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Loftus is currently a medical director treating adolescent and young adults in residential care.
