U.S. Journal Training’s year gets underway this month with over five hundred attendees at the 36th Annual Training Institute on Behavioral Health & Addictive Disorders, held February 9–12, in Clearwater Beach, FL.

 

 
Registration is now open for three spring conferences:

 

 
The 7th Annual Conference on Counseling Advances, held March 19–21 at the Red Rock Resort and Spa in Las Vegas, NV.  

 

 
Cohosted by American Addiction Centers and cosponsored by Behavioral Health of the Palm beaches, this training offers up to twenty-four credit hours for Continuing Education, including six hours on ethics at a preconference workshop on March 14. 

 

 
The conference will focus on topics related to:

 

 
  • Trauma treatment
  • The brain and addiction
  • Co-occurring disorders
  • Shame, anxiety, and depression
  • Mindfulness and holistic approaches
  • Neuroscience and psychotherapy

 

 

 
The 13th National Conference on Adolescents and Young Adults, held April 23–25 at the Westgate Las Vegas, previously the LVH.  

 

 
Cutting-edge keynote presentations will include:

 

 

 

 

 

 
The 2nd National Conference on Trauma, Addiction, & Intimacy Disorders held April 30–May 2 at the Doubletree Hotel Downtown in Nashville, TN.  

 

 
USJT returns to Nashville with strong support from national and regional treatment providers, including Promises, The Ranch, Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, American Addiction Centers, and The Meadows.

 

 
The three-day conference will be preceded by a preconference ethics workshop and a postconference “Wisdom Recovery Experience.” Details can be found at www.usjt.com. Conference highlights include an opening evening presentation and music orchestrated by OnSite.
