Elizabeth Johnston   EdD

Elizabeth Johnston, EdD, is associate chair for the Center for Educational and Instructional Research (CEITR) and faculty member at the School for Advanced Studies (SAS) at the University of Phoenix. Dr. Johnston earned an undergraduate degree with a double major in fine arts and psychology and a master’s degree in art education and special education from Michigan State. She earned a Type 75 Superintendents endorsement from University of Illinois in Champaign and an EdD in educational leadership from Loyola of Chicago. Dr. Johnston is a qualitative researcher currently working on visual literacy and arts-based instructional and curricular strategies.
